Accellera Honors Shalom Bresticker
Bresticker Honored with Accellera’s First Distinguished Service Award
“Shalom has been an invaluable contributor to the development of Accellera standards,” stated Lu Dai, Accellera Chair. “His breadth of knowledge and expertise dissecting the crucial elements so that they are clear is incredibly beneficial to users of the standards. He painstakingly reviews hundreds of pages, fixing errors along the way. We have benefited from his skills for years and are grateful for his contributions to Accellera. We are thrilled to bestow Accellera’s first Distinguished Service Award to Shalom.”
Mr. Bresticker was presented with the award during the Accellera-sponsored luncheon at DVCon U.S. 2024. For more information on his contributions to Accellera standards, visit here. To view Shalom’s acceptance of the award, visit here.

The Functional Safety Working Group has just released its whitepaper with a focus on the data model. The data model is intended to support the generation and interchange of functional safety content that represents diverse elements of the safety cases of safety-relevant systems, modules, components, and IP in related industries. The data model is a foundational component to complete the working group objectives defined in the Functional Safety Working Group White Paper that was released in 2021.
